Job Summary
Head Coach role for Water Polo at MHS in Rockwood School District. Responsible for supervising students, developing training programs, fostering team cohesion, planning competitions, and ensuring compliance with conduct standards. Requires leadership, effective communication, ability to work nights/weekends, travel with team for competitions, and adherence to MSHSAA guidelines. Emphasis on mentoring students, promoting sportsmanship and character development, and coordinating with school administration and parents. Stipend-based position with duties distributed between contracted teachers and hourly staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AED/CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
- MSHSAA training requirements
- High School Graduate 2 or more years prior
- Clean criminal and child abuse and neglect records check
