Job Summary
Monitor and operate gauges, meters, and control panels to manage water treatment processes, including SCADA system adjustments and valve operations. Extract samples for routine laboratory tests, document results, and calibrate chlorine analyzers while checking chloramine residuals onsite. Maintain valves, motors, pumps, and engines manually or remotely; clean and maintain ground storage tanks, aerators, filters, and chemical rooms. Conduct scheduled plant inspections, certify facility cleanliness, and ensure all operations comply with state and federal laws. Perform 36-hour full-time coverage with 12 paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduation or GED equivalent
- one year of experience in water testing, operations, or closely related experience
- State of FL Class "C" Water License
- State of FL Class "B" Water License
- State of FL Class "A" Water License
- all required licenses
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
