Job Summary
Mitigation Technician responsible for on-site water mitigation tasks such as demolition and setting drying equipment, supervising crew members, documenting hours, coordinating with the Mitigation Project Manager and Superintendent, and maintaining OSHA-compliant, clean job sites. Must be able to manage multiple projects, operate document management tools, and be willing to work 48+ hours per week and participate in on-call rotations during catastrophic events. Requires experience in mitigation or IICRC WRT certification (preferred) and a valid US driver’s license. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, organization, communication, and adherence to safety standards while supporting restoration efforts and client relations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in mitigation
- IICRC WRT certification preferred but will train the right person
- Knowledge of insurance claim procedures a plus
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- No felony convictions
