Job Summary
Water Mitigation Technician responsible for water extraction, equipment setup and take down, containment, contaminated material removal (flooring, cabinets, drywall, etc.), complete drying of the structure, cleaning, and documentation of daily logs/work orders. Must ensure quality standards, load equipment for daily tasks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, communicate professionally with customers and team, and participate in required training. Requires 1+ year in water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanings, 1+ year in carpentry, on-call availability, overtime, strong written/verbal communication, ability to lift 50 lbs, excellent customer service, ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces, PPE usage, and IICRC certifications; valid driver’s license, background check, and drug screen are required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in water mitigation, mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanings
- 1+ year experience in carpentry
- Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule
- Available for regular overtime
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 50 LBS
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- IICRC Certifications are required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass MVR check
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
