Job Summary
Lead and train technicians in water damage restoration, oversee job scope and timelines, and develop estimates using Xactimate. Inspect onsite with Project Manager/Crew Chief/Lead Tech to define the scope, document losses with clear photos, and communicate next steps to customers. Manage billable events, liaise with adjusters and customers in person/over the phone/virtually, prepare documentation for insurance reimbursements, and perform quality assurance inspections after completion. May train new technicians, generate dry-out/mitigation notes for client materials, and ensure safety, professionalism, and customer service throughout the restoration process.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of insurance restoration and/or construction industry
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Experience managing teams of 2 or more
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone
