Water Management Operator

Job Summary
Operate field water-management equipment and services in support of customer projects. Determine the proper rigging and setup method for the customer package, unload and assemble equipment, set up the service unit, and initiate rig-up. Install drains and air reliefs as required, operate transfer pumps and discharge manifolds, monitor water levels in frac tanks, and handle hoses of various sizes. Run filtration units, perform basic routine equipment maintenance, and conduct routine readings to ensure equipment meets customer specifications while maintaining safety. Assist with yard and shop duties, forklift movement, hotshot/parts runs, and comply with company safety policies. Participate in internal safety trainings and read/interpret safety and operating manuals. Demonstrate ability to work both independently and as part of a team, tolerate inclement weather, and work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 5-7 years
- Travel: Up to 50%
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Able and willing to work rotating shift that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
- Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
- Able and willing to work independently and in a team environment
- Physical ability to regularly lift/move 25-50 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs with assistance
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak and present information to customers and employees
- Experience operating transfer pumps, filtration units, and discharge manifolds
- Familiar with basic routine equipment maintenance and safety procedures
- Forklift operation and yard work experience
- Ability to perform job safety analysis (JSA) and participate in safety meetings
- OSHA safety training or awareness
