Water Mains Engineer

Independently investigate and repair external water supplies; logically establish ownership and liability based on leak location; confidently explain works to customers to provide peace of mind; communicate proactively with the Field Operations Team and work with other engineers as required; preferred experience includes leak detection using listening sticks and ground microphones, and trenchless installation via moling; involves 20mm–32mm service laying, new point of entry creation, CAT scanning to identify buried services, and reinstatement of surfaces (paving slabs, block paving, cold lay tarmac, concrete); must have care for customers, problem-solving and a high standard of work, with DBS clearance and a driving licence; role supports a long-term career within Auger and includes on-site challenges and a dedicated Field Operations Team to assist.
