Job Summary
Develop hydraulic models of water distribution systems and conduct advanced modeling to inform infrastructure planning and optimize operations. Lead preparation of water system master plans, evaluate potable water facilities, and manage study/design projects. Perform quality control reviews of models, reports, and designs while leading teams of project engineers. Prepare plans and specifications for construction and represent the firm at municipal meetings. Prepare competitive proposals and participate in client interviews, assisting with business development activities. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 5+ years in potable water analysis, Illinois P.E. license, and proficiency with ArcGIS and WaterGEMS. Salary is commensurate with experience; no sponsorship authorized.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in potable water system analysis/design
- Illinois P.E. License (or the ability to obtain through reciprocity)
- Experience in potable water hydraulic modeling, including master planning
- Experience in delivering detailed water system design/plan preparation
- Proficient with ArcGIS and WaterGEMS and/or InfoWater Pro
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
