Job Summary
Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading tank chlorinations, while installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves. Conduct routine monitoring tasks per HSG 274 Part 2 by flushing outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and performing sampling for closed water systems. Manage workload using the SimPRO system and apply detailed knowledge of HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG274 to maintain compliance. Requires a full clean UK driving licence, City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, and relevant industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training
- Suitable industry experience
- Enhanced DBS check
- BPSS clearance
- Detailed knowledge of HSE's ACoP L8
- Detailed knowledge of HSG274
- Ability to spot problems and proactively find solutions
- Available Monday to Friday (no evenings, no weekends, no on-call)
- Full-time employment
- Permanent employment
- 40 hours per week
