Job Summary
Water HeaterSelling Technician role combines hands-on installation with sales responsibilities: install gas, electric, and tankless water heaters in residential and commercial settings; recommend and sell replacement water heaters and related upgrades; close sales by presenting options, pricing, and value; educate customers on energy efficiency and long-term value; use AI-powered sales coaching tools; maintain truck inventory and complete documentation; coordinate with dispatch and installers; travel/OT as needed for emergencies; safety/compliance with codes; strong customer service and communication skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Sales experience preferred
- At least 1 year of relevant field experience (plumbing background preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and performing field work
- Coachable, growth-minded, and open to feedback
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record per company policy
