Job Summary
The Water/Fire Restoration Technician is responsible for monitoring and completing restoration jobs, including drying, demolition, packing out contents, and various fire restoration activities. Key tasks include retrieving work orders, ensuring proper equipment is loaded, explaining job processes to customers, performing fire/smoke damage repairs, and preparing documentation for insurance reimbursements. The role requires physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving and customer service skills
- Knowledge of disaster restoration industry
- Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the restoration or construction industry
- Certifications such as FSRT, OCT, WTR, ASD
