Job Summary
As a Water/Fire Restoration Technician, you will monitor and inspect restoration jobs, completing tasks such as drying, demolition, and fire restoration activities while ensuring quality control. You will be responsible for retrieving work orders, explaining processes to customers, completing assigned jobs, handling equipment and supplies, obtaining customer signatures, making daily adjustments to drying plans, and preparing documentation for insurance reimbursement. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, along with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving and customer service skills
- Knowledge of disaster restoration industry
- Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone
- Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
- Read and follow product label usage instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the restoration or construction industry
- Certifications such as FSRT, OCT, WTR, ASD
