Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal water and wastewater clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Lead and oversee facility projects from planning through construction, conducting site visits to assess conditions and troubleshoot issues. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions. Prepare planning/design reports, specifications, and permit applications, and lead bid phase services including review of documents, RFIs, and contractor coordination. Oversee and mentor junior engineers, CAD staff, and technical team members. This role requires a P.E. in Pennsylvania and 5-7+ years of experience managing municipal projects. Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
- at least 3-5 years managing projects (scope, schedule, budget, and client interaction)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineering Designation (P.E.) in Pennsylvania or have the ability to obtain your license within six months
- You've successfully led municipal water and wastewater projects
- Effective communication skills allowing you to break down technical concepts for clients, regulators, and team members
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities while keeping a cool head
- Ability to mentor others and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture
