Job Summary
Watchman responsible for guest service and security in a hotel setting: greet guests, provide directions and guidance, assist with lockouts and operational issues, act as first responder to accidents, administer first aid and contact emergency services, monitor premises for safety, identify and address hazards, engage suspicious persons and liaise with law enforcement as needed, field security calls and dispatch appropriately, and escalate issues to relevant personnel. Requires strong customer service, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work under pressure. Travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid state driver’s license
- Good understanding of English
- Prior work experience in private security firm or law enforcement desirable
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Decent computer and technology skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent listening skills
