Job Summary
Manage 24/7 Rescue & Firefighting Services at an ICAO Category 6 airfield, acting as Incident Commander for fire, rescue, and emergency incidents. Direct vehicle positioning, crew deployment, and radio coordination with the control tower and other emergency services. Supervise daily station duties, equipment checks, and maintenance while ensuring operational readiness through periodic drills and inspections. Lead crew performance across assigned vehicles and manage rostering support. Contribute to Standard Operating Procedure development and compile incident reporting data. Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure all station logbooks are accurately filed.
Required Qualifications
- Five to Ten (5-10) years' experience in fire/rescue services
- Five (5) years in a supervisory position at an ICAO Category six (6) airfield or above
- At least three (3) of the last five (5) years must have been spent in an equivalent position
- Must be a FVEY national and passport holder
- Valid heavy vehicle operator license in country of origin and ability to obtain equivalent in the United Arab Emirates
- English Oral/Written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Twelve (12) years formal education

- First Aid/Basic Life Support Certification
- Certified 'Medically Fit' for the role
- Formal training and assessment qualifications
