Job Summary
Monitor wastewater conditions, test for chemical and biological hazards, and analyze data to propose pollution elimination strategies. Maintain accurate records of environmental compliance, test inspections, and safety procedures while ensuring adherence to all regulations. Train employees on operating procedures and safety standards. Requires Wastewater Operator certification, 2–4 years of experience, valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-controlled equipment. This 2nd shift onsite role at AZZ Inc.'s Milwaukee facility supports sustainability efforts within a drug-free workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Wastewater Operator certification
- 2 – 4 years of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must have and maintain valid driver license
- Having the ability to perform basic control laboratory testing and understanding and applying results
- Having good record-keeping skills, being comfortable with computers and computer-controlled equipment, and capable of learning new operating, maintenance, analytical or computer skills
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School diploma / Vocational training
