Job Summary
Operate the wastewater treatment system in Jerome, ID, including monitoring control panels and adjusting valves to regulate flow and chemical dosing, ensuring compliance with discharge limits. Perform operations of wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing; support maintenance of pumps and automation. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; certification within one year of hire; prior wastewater treatment experience preferred; ability to work with standard equipment and automation; eligible for state operator certification. Includes shift differential and comprehensive benefits; E-Verify employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Wastewater Operator Certification required by state agency or obtained within one (1) year of hire
- Minimum one (1) year wastewater treatment experience or equivalent training/certification strongly preferred
- Basic mechanical competency with standard wastewater equipment to include pumps, and automation required
