Job Summary

The Wastewater Treatment Engineer will lead the planning and design of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities, including plant upgrades and regulatory-driven improvements. Responsibilities include preparing technical designs, managing process modeling, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and serving as a mentor to junior staff. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a P.E. license, over 10 years of experience, and strong knowledge of design principles and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in applicable Southeastern states
  • 10+ years of experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment facility design
  • Strong knowledge of process design principles, equipment selection, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Process modeling software proficiency (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X)

Additional Requirements
