Job Summary
Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater plant, life stations, and sludge disposal in compliance with established procedures, standards, and federal, state, and local laws. Perform daily inspection and monitoring of pumps, charts, gauges, wells, tanks, and meters; apply and adjust chemicals per prescribed standards; collect and deliver plant samples for lab testing; and prepare accurate reports and records. Conduct equipment servicing, including preventive maintenance and repairs, manage inventory, and maintain site and property. Must hold a valid Oklahoma driver's license and relevant DEQ and OSHA certifications. Respond to emergency calls at any time.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Must be able to respond to calls in emergency situations at any time
- Must have a DEQ D Water and Wastewater license
- Must have OSHA 10 certification
- Must have a DEQ D Water license
- Must have a C Wastewater (or C Wastewater Lab) license
- Must have a B Wastewater (or C Wastewater Lab) license
