Wastewater Technician

Job Summary
Operate and maintain wastewater collection system including lift stations; document work and prepare reports; assist with outages and emergencies; perform wastewater testing for infiltration/inflow via flow metering, smoke testing, and visual inspections; use GPS to record and navigate to facilities; maintain knowledge of wastewater lines, meters, and related facilities; communicate with GIS for mapping updates; comply with safety standards and company policies; possess computer skills (Windows, Android, IOS) and proficiency in Excel/Word; must reside within one-hour response from work location; willingness to obtain required licenses and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain Class III Wastewater Collection Operator License
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification upon employment
