Job Summary
Wastewater Technician needed to operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system, perform preventive maintenance and inspections, clear blockages and maintain proper flow, diagnose and fix low voltage equipment and probes, repair equipment, maintain logs, conduct basic lab analyses, perform simple calculations, and communicate issues to management. Role involves 12-hour rotating shifts in Greeneville, TN, with on-site work and required PPE; physical demands include lifting heavy loads, climbing ladders, and exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. On-the-job training provided and weekly pay offered.
Required Qualifications
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Physical requirements: work in wet/cold environment, stand 8+ hours, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, exposure to fumes/chemicals
