Wastewater Technician

Job Summary
Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system; perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections; clear blockages, clean screens and maintain proper flow; diagnose and repair low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, pH meters, level transducers; repair equipment as necessary; maintain maintenance and wastewater treatment logs; conduct basic lab analyses and simple calculations; communicate issues and status updates to management; hold a 12-hour rotating shift in Midway, TN, with on-site responsibilities and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Physical Requirements: Work in a wet and cold environment, stand 8+ hours, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, exposure to fumes/particles/chemicals
