Wastewater Technician

Job Summary
Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system; perform preventive maintenance and inspections; clear blockages, clean screens, and maintain proper flow; diagnose and repair low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, pH meters, level transducers, and other components; repair equipment as necessary; maintain maintenance and wastewater treatment logs; conduct basic lab analyses and simple calculations; communicate issues and status updates to management; physical demands include working in a wet and cold environment, standing 8+ hours, and lifting 50+ lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
