Job Summary
Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system; perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic lab analyses; diagnose and repair equipment including D.O. probes, pH meters, and level transducers; maintain logs and communicate issues to management; physical duties include standing long shifts, lifting heavy loads, and working in a wet/cold environment. Shift is 12-hour rotating; requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Physical requirements: stand 8+ hours, lift 50+ lbs, exposure to noise, fumes, etc.
