Wastewater Technician

Job Summary
Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Clear blockages, clean screens, and maintain proper flow through the system. Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, pH meters, Level transducers, etc. Repair equipment as necessary. Maintain maintenance logs and wastewater treatment logs. Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations. Communicate issues and status updates to management. All other relevant duties as required. On-the-job training provided; benefits vary; weekly pay; family-oriented company culture.
Required Qualifications
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Physical requirements: work in wet and cold environment, stand 8+ hours, exposure to noise, CO2, moving production lines, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, fumes/chemicals
