Required Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as teacher/instructor in one or more STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) disciplines or as an instructor/trainer in related industrial job training.
  • Two years of experience in the operation or maintenance of an advanced, complex wastewater/water facility or related industry/facility as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment, INCLUDING one year of experience performing lead, supervisory, and/or training duties (supervisory/training experience may be concurrent).
  • One year of experience with Pima County in an Operations & Maintenance Technician II, Utility Maintenance Worker III, Industrial Wastewater Inspector, Wastewater Maintenance Specialist II, Conveyance Systems Monitoring II or closely related position as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.
