WASTEWATER SUPERINTENDENT

Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Wastewater Treatment Facility by supervising personnel, performing water treatment tests, and ensuring all safety rules and regulatory compliance are followed. Take and submit water samples in accordance with EPA Regulations, while overseeing cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping across the wastewater and offal departments. Train staff in best practices to maintain City and State requirements and keep all documentation accurate per Pilgrim's Pride Policy and local, state, and federal agencies. Requires an Associate's degree or vocational certification, five years of direct related experience, and a Class III Waste Water License.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or completion of Vocational/Technical specialty certification/licensure program in related field
- minimum of 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience
- Proven management skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of applicable compliance requirements and state and federal (EPA) regulations
- minimum Class III Waste Water License or have the ability to obtain an appropriate State Certified license within twelve months of employment
