Job Summary
Detail-oriented Wastewater & Plating Lab Technician to support electroplating operations and environmental systems. Responsible for chemical analysis on plating baths (zinc, nickel, phosphating), titrations, pH and heavy metals testing, Hull cell testing, and maintaining lab records. Supports electroplating and production by inspecting washers, plating lines, and spray nozzles, managing chemical additions, maintaining system balance, and performing routine walk-throughs. Oversees wastewater treatment operations, regulatory sampling and compliance (EPA, NPDES), and data/documentation to meet QMS and SOP requirements. Requires safety-minded, independent work ethic with the ability to input data and operate within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field OR High School Diploma with strong relevant experience.
