Job Summary
Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, pH adjustment, and disinfection. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of pumps, tanks, and equipment while operating valves, DAF, and screeners to manage flow. Record operational data, maintain logs, and assist in troubleshooting or repairing process issues. Respond to emergencies such as equipment failures or chemical spills to ensure continued operation. Coordinate driver unloading and collaborate with team members to optimize plant performance. Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-4 years of related work experience in an industrial environment
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to climb ladders and operate platforms at varying heights
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Good vision
- Good hearing
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
