Job Summary
Water Operator (any level) for Claremore, OK plant. Responsibilities include operating a variety of equipment (valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, vehicles), routine testing and monitoring of production wells and water/wastewater processes, documenting plant performance and chemical usage, responding to call outs and after-hours emergencies, maintaining and cleaning facilities, training staff on SOPs and safe work practices, providing customer service related to technical aspects of operations, coordinating maintenance at the facility, and complying with company policies; must be able to work all shifts and on-call. Licenses: Valid Driver’s License; Water Operator’s License as required by site/state; CDL preferred. Requires high school diploma or GED with 4 years of water/wastewater experience; advanced knowledge of water/wastewater; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams; physical ability to lift 50-60 pounds and work in confined spaces. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years water/wastewater experience
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
- Water Operator’s License specific to state and site-specific requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Water Operator’s License (state/site requirements) possibly
- Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call
