Wastewater Operator

Wastewater Operator responsible for operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities, including operating equipment (valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment), conducting routine testing and monitoring, documenting plant performance (flow, electrical and chemical usage), and responding to after-hours emergencies. Requires ability to follow procedures, basic laboratory analyses, knowledge of regulatory rules, and willingness to work all shifts including weekends and on-call emergencies. Must have or be willing to obtain water/wastewater certification; education: High School Diploma or GED; valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred) and state/site-specific operator licenses. Strong communication, problem-solving, and adherence to safety SOPs are essential; ability to use basic Microsoft Office tools and operate within company policies. Equal Opportunity Employer.
