Job Summary
Operate a variety of equipment and machinery including valves, pumps, motors, and disinfection units while conducting routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production wells and unit processes. Perform and document treatment process maintenance, tracking daily flow, electrical usage, and chemical dosage. Respond to call-outs and after-hours emergencies to repair treatment equipment, pumps, motors, sensing devices, and instrumentation. Ensure facilities remain clean, neat, and secure, providing customer service functions when necessary. Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness, aptitude, and self-discipline to study required material and meet prerequisites to obtain water or wastewater certification
- Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures, and safe practices
- Ability to successfully perform routine on-site maintenance and emergency repairs of treatment equipment
- Knowledge of regulatory rules
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to follow manual and operating instructions
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet
- Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to contribute to a positive internal and external customer experience

- Must complete background screening
- Must complete drug testing
- Must complete driving record review where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Wastewater license (beneficial but not required)
- Previous water or wastewater treatment experience
- Completion of water or wastewater correspondence courses
- CDL (preferred)
