Job Summary
Learn to operate machinery and equipment in water and wastewater facilities, including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles; conduct routine testing, monitoring, and basic laboratory analyses; document plant performance and chemical/electrical usage; respond to call-outs and after-hours emergencies; maintain clean, secure facilities and provide customer service as needed; willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call; education requirement is High School Diploma or GED; must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Water/Wastewater Operator's License within one year; basic computer proficiency and adherence to company policies/SOPs; physical ability to lift 50-60 pounds and perform tasks in a facility with potential need to access confined spaces; background screening, drug testing, and driving record checks are prerequisites.
