Job Summary
Join AtkinsRéalis as a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller, where you will develop computer models to investigate water network issues and generate outline solutions, analyze data, and support the development of engineering solutions for clients. You will prepare health and safety risk assessments, contribute to tender responses, and supervise and develop junior staff. Ideal candidates will have awareness of urban drainage modelling, experience with InfoWorks ICM, GIS packages, and a solid understanding of wastewater modelling and distribution networks. Professional growth through mentorship and training opportunities is emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/BEng/MEng degree in geography, GIS, Science, engineering, or equivalent
- HNC, HND level qualification in similar subjects for technician roles
Desired Qualifications
- Experience/awareness of urban drainage modelling
- Experience in Wastewater modelling and distribution networks
- Building and calibrating network models
- Using network models for planning, operational and solution development purposes
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects
- Ability to check the work of others for quality assurance
- Implementation of industry leading solutions
