Job Summary
Manage the operation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant to support optimum health and throughput. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sampling and testing requirements while maintaining chemical stock levels and coordinating maintenance using MEX. Promptly report and escalate plant issues to internal teams and external contractors as required. Maintain accurate operational documentation and support improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing compliance with GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, and third-party certification standards. Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure site procedures and safety protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications
- Current forklift licence
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A results-driven approach and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to follow procedures, maintain records and work effectively with internal teams
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a Waste Water Treatment Plant or similar industrial treatment process
- Experience working in food manufacturing, FMCG or a regulated production environment
- Exposure to sampling, testing, chemical dosing, environmental compliance or maintenance coordination systems
