Job Summary
Inspect, service, and repair water treatment plant components including intakes, pipelines, storage vessels, chemical equipment, pumps, boilers, and controls. Support filtration and chemical treatment processes while monitoring plant performance to arrange timely servicing and major repairs. Conduct water sampling and testing in accordance with operational requirements and maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and maintenance records. Carry out general maintenance duties as required. This role is part of a 2:1 FIFO roster in Brisbane, QLD. The team operates under strict safety, environmental compliance, and teamwork standards within the Sodexo family.
Required Qualifications
- NWP30222 Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (mandatory)
- A current Open Manual C Class Driver's Licence
- A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a water treatment plant
- Experience with water sampling and testing techniques
- Knowledge of water and sanitation systems management
- Strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Desired Qualifications
- Current vaccination against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B
- Previous experience working in remote or industrial environments
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and teamwork
