Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain large industrial textile processing equipment while performing sampling, monitoring, and testing to ensure treated water meets safety regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues, operate boilers, and execute start-up and shut-down procedures across water systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Respond to daily maintenance requests and provide emergency repairs for production equipment, adhering to all safety rules and Federal, State, and Local laws. Conduct weekend checks at the treatment plant and pump stations on a rotating basis, maintaining accurate records of all maintenance performed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other safety violations
- Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience
- Specific knowledge of machinery
- Specific knowledge of electricity
- Specific knowledge of electronics
- Specific knowledge of plumbing
- Specific knowledge of hydraulics
- Specific knowledge of pneumatics
- Specific knowledge of welder applications
- Specific knowledge of boiler applications
- Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phase 230 volt systems
- PLC programming experience
- Experience in carpentry
- Experience in boiler repair
- Experience in welding
- Experience in general facility repairs
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to comprehend and follow direction
- Ability to perform basic math
- Good time management

- High school graduate or equivalency
- Relevant certifications
- Boiler license
