Job Summary
Load and unload various waste streams into long-haul trucks, flatbeds, and roll-off containers while tracking USAP shipping containers from the staging yard. Operate warehouse forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles, and perform truck weigh station duties. Assist with auction tasks as needed and handle light administrative work such as timecards and expense reports. Work outdoors in a physically demanding environment involving constant activity, lifting 50–70 lbs, and bending. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and maintain a safe workplace while supporting Operations and ASC metrics. Complete an Elevated Background Investigation prior to deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Antarctic deployment
- Equipment operating experience
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours daily
- Must be able to lift the safety regulation maximum and perform functions requiring repetitive motion required
- Able to deploy to Port Hueneme, CA for length of contract
- A prerequisite of employment for this position is to successfully gain a favorable Elevated Background Investigation (EBI) result prior to deployment
- Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain military base access
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
