Waste Processing Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead a team of environmental technicians to segregate and package hazardous waste, oversee projects, train staff, ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, and maintain accurate records. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment under training, collecting samples for laboratory analysis, conducting on-site testing, coordinating scheduling, and providing coaching to technicians to work compliantly and safely. Occasional travel to customer sites and support of staff training are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Driver License with clean driving record
- 40-Hour Hazwoper with current 8-hour refresher (preferred)
- 2+ years of hazardous waste experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a DEA background check when relevant
- Must be clean shaven for respirator usage in the RCRA Part B facility
