Job Summary
Collect, segregate, and dispose of organic, inorganic, and hazardous waste generated on site using hand tools, powered equipment, and light duty trucks. Operate heavy machinery including compactors, balers, and forklifts while performing daily inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment remain in good working order. Maintain a clean and safe environment by sweeping, cleaning equipment, and reporting hazards or service interruptions to the Assistant Manager. Collaborate with the team to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices while serving as an ambassador for resort sustainability goals. This seasonal role requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a schedule ending February 24th, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Hold a current class C driver's license, clean driving record, and meet California minimum liability car insurance requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and Holidays to support park operations
- Requires excellent verbal English skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent education and experience)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the waste management industry, operating heavy equipment such as trucks, single axle trailers, front-end loaders or compactors, forklifts
