Waste Management Technician - (Half Moon Cay - Bahamas)

Job Summary
Assist with on-site waste collection, process hazardous materials including testing and lab packing, and prepare shipping documents. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and heavy equipment while ensuring proper personal protective equipment use. Conduct inspections, document activities and incidents, and report safety concerns or provide first aid support. Follow all compliance regulations for waste disposal and participate in emergency response procedures. Provide training on procedure changes and perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor. Fluency in conversational English and a technical/waste certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical/waste certification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a technical maintenance environment in Hospitality or a related field
- Fluency in conversational English
- Must be physically fit
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment as needed
- Must be able to work a shift schedule while at any of the destinations
Desired Qualifications
- additional education in Hospitality or a related field
- Must have excellent communication and planning skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills
