Waste Management Leader

Develop and implement environmental waste strategies and policies while overseeing hazardous and non-hazardous waste management practices, including proper handling, storage, tracking, and disposal. Monitor federal, state, and municipal regulatory changes to ensure compliance and coordinate with stakeholders on relevant issues. Conduct waste and safety equipment inspections, manage the lifecycle of documentation for shipments, and prepare technical procedures and reports. Partner with operations, safety, and engineering personnel to integrate work practices, provide training, and lead incident investigations with corrective action plans. Assist with companywide permitting, Tier II chemical reporting, and environmental emergency response, including spill assessment and cleanup. This EHS Leadership role requires 7-10 years of waste management experience, a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or chemistry, and proficiency in hazardous materials transportation regulations. The position offers a pay range of $120,000 - $140,000 plus annual bonus potential, with up to 50% travel required. Located in Houston, TX, Tampa, FL, or Remote, the candidate will work within a matrix organization supporting Depot Connect International's global tank and ISO tank container services.
