Job Summary
Relationship Specialist II delivers member-focused service in-person or by phone, guiding members to appropriate resolutions and supporting branch operations. Responsibilities include opening new accounts/sub-shares, cash handling, issuing/re-pinning ATM/Debit cards, processing and funding loan applications, and referring Mortgage, Investments, and Autoland products. Maintains account accuracy and compliance, supports revenue targets, and represents the Credit Union positively while protecting member information. Requires strong communication, confidentiality, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure; applicable compliance knowledge (BSA, Reg CC, Reg D, Reg E) and familiarity with deposit and loan products are essential. Education: High School; NMLS registration preferred; notary preferred. Pay scales are location-based with a wide compensation range for Alaska, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and more.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a similar position
- NMLS Registered
- Notary preferred
- Knowledge of Federal, State and NCUA regulations including BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation D and Regulation E
- Comprehensive knowledge of deposit account products and services
- Working knowledge of loan products and related systems
- Proven ability to garner business
- Education: High School (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in PC/Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong attention to detail
