Job Summary
The RS I position supports in-person, personalized member service in a branch, handling a wide range of transactions and cross-selling products. Responsibilities include receiving and disbursing funds, posting deposits and loan/credit card payments, transfers, money orders, cash advances, and withdrawals; opening and maintaining savings, checking, money market, and CDs; issuing and re-pinning/reordering plastic cards; completing accuracy-focused balance activity and daily cash drawer management; and recommending other products and services. The role requires compliance training, knowledge of regulatory requirements (BSA, Regulation CC, and related rules), and proficiency with office technology and software. Cross-selling to Investment Services, First Mortgages, and Auto loans is encouraged to support production goals. Education: High School or Equivalent; 1 year of related branch operations experience; NMLS registration; strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1-yr related branch operations experience
- Knowledge of BSA, Regulation CC, D, E and all other pertinent regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and all services
- Basic knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and NCUA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills to compute interest on savings, loans, and certificates
- Demonstrated ability to operate office machines including 10-key and PC
- Proficient in PC and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Internet / Intranet
- Knowledge of SharePoint
- Good verbal / written communication, problem solving, member service, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Professional demeanor
- Capable of working under pressure and with frequent interruptions
- Successful completion of all compliance related coursework
- NMLS Registered
- Education: High School or Equivalent
