Job Summary
Associate in Skadden's Tax Group (Washington, D.C. or Houston) focusing on renewable energy transactions with strong transactional tax experience, including tax equity investments and eligibility for U.S. federal tax credits. Lateral candidates (class of 2024–2021) encouraged; DC and/or Texas bar admission required. Hybrid work model with in-office Monday-Thursday and remote periods throughout the year. Starting base salary between $235,000 and $365,000 per year; potential discretionary year-end bonus. Opportunities for mentorship and professional development, plus extensive pro bono program.
Required Qualifications
- Admitted to practice law in Washington D.C. and/or Texas
- Strong transactional tax experience
- Experience advising developers and investors in renewable energy transactions
- Experience with tax equity investments and federal tax credits
- High level of academic achievement
