Job Summary
Conduct project management for WASH and Health initiatives in Tambura, including training community hygiene promoters, leading awareness campaigns, and facilitating focused group discussions to gather feedback. Manage the Health budget and expenses per donor approval, develop procurement plans, and oversee the timely ordering and distribution of soap and hand-washing facilities. Support staff management by guiding county and project teams in performance evaluations, ensuring adequate staffing, and coordinating capacity building with Human Resources. Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports while maintaining accurate budget forecasts and conducting monthly budget versus actuals at the county level.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in human medicine, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health or paramedical disciplines
- Demonstrate understanding of the South Sudan's Health system
- Strong working understanding of Primary Health Care, Secondary Health Care and the Boma Health Initiative
- Demonstrated application of Do No Harm, including understanding of intended and unintended consequences of gender equality and social inclusion interventions, and risk mitigation approaches
- Excellent work experience in training facilitation and mentoring government staffs
- Fluency in English language
