Job Summary
Conduct onsite washing and sanitizing of trucks and trailers using high-pressure equipment. Operate tractors and straight trucks to move vehicles from the yard to the wash bay. Assist truck drivers as a helper when traveling out of province, rural areas, or cities, working 10-12-hour days as needed. Submit daily log reports weekly and strictly follow all Health and Safety protocols. Report to the Logistics Department at Darling's Winnipeg facility for a full-time, 6-month contract afternoon shift (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) with overtime opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Capable of driving tractors and straight trucks within yard
- Must be willing to go out of province / rural areas / city with truck drivers as a helper when needed
- 10-12-hour days when helping driver
- Able to work with high pressure washing equipment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Focused attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Opportunity to work overtime shifts
