Job Summary

Move commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, to and from parking areas and the wash area. Wash the exterior and interior of vehicles using high-pressure equipment, cleansers, and solvents to remove dust, grease, and asphalt. Fumigate vehicles with gases or sprays as needed and inspect fuel and DEF levels. Keep premises, fuel islands, and parking lots clean and orderly while operating equipment like forklifts and boom-lifts. Maintain accurate cleaning schedules and log chemical fluid levels. Perform scheduled maintenance on wash bay equipment and assist in training new employees on safety procedures. Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Earn $19.00–$20.00 hourly with a quarterly safety bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver license
  • No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
  • No major moving violations within the previous 5 years
  • Successful respirator physical, and respirator fit test *half mask
  • Successful pre-employment background screening & drug testing
  • Ability to operate commercial motor vehicles on private property; training provided
  • Manual Dexterity: The ability to use various cleaning tools and equipment effectively
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure thorough cleaning of vehicles both inside and out
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures is necessary to operate equipment safely and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries
  • Dependability: Reliable and punctual, as consistent attendance is essential for maintaining cleanliness standards and meeting service schedules
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Physical stamina and strength, as it involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers; and lift, carry, pull, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, grip, speak, hear, see, climb and/or balance, bend, kneel, squat or crawl, use legs, and feet
  • This position requires constant climbing of stairs and/or ladders, working at elevations of 14 feet above the ground, bending-over
  • This position is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic and/or caustic chemicals or substances, extreme weather conditions, vibration, and equipment under pressure
  • The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and risks of electrical shock. The noise level is usually very loud
