Job Summary
Lead and manage the Warriors to Work regional team across multiple offices to guide performance toward program goals and deliver career transition guidance for wounded servicemembers and their families. Develop employer relationships by sourcing partners, identifying decision makers, and establishing lasting connections to market veteran skills to recruiters. Actively engage with regional executive corporate decision makers to demonstrate the value of hiring wounded veterans and family members. Establish clear communication channels by cascading messages, providing feedback to direct reports, and ensuring all specialists understand program priorities. Collaborate with other regional directors and departments to align activities with strategic plans, oversee employment program delivery with policy adherence, and manage regional location budgets. Travel up to 35% to support team training and warrior events as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of WWP Programs experience (e.g., Alumni, Mental Health & Wellness, Physical Health & Wellness) or business recruitment experience in a corporate environment
- Five years of staff leadership and management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Ability to obtain ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire
- Up to 35% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Five years of experience managing virtual or remote teams
- Five years of experience successfully creating and maintaining long-term business partnerships
- Five years of experience growing and developing outcome-oriented career goals for veterans
- Two years of business development experience in a nonprofit environment
- Master's degree in business or management
