Warranty Technician

Job Summary
The Warranty Technician completes warranty work and assists Warranty Leadership by evaluating homeowner-reported concerns, conducting on-site assessments to determine scope and urgency, and distinguishing warranty-covered defects from maintenance or user-related issues. Responsibilities include coordinating with trades/subcontractors, performing or overseeing repairs (drywall, trim, caulking, basic framing), documenting service orders, ensuring work meets codes and company standards, communicating timelines to homeowners, verifying subcontractor work, maintaining thorough records, identifying warranty trends, and participating in on-call rotations. The role requires strong customer service, field coordination, and the ability to travel to homeowner residences (professional travel ~80%), with a valid driver’s license and proficient use of MS Outlook and warranty management tools. The position is based in Frackville, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of general construction experience (preferably in homebuilding, warranty, or service work)
- experience with drywall, trim, caulking, and minor framing
- experience working with homeowners or customers in a service-oriented role
- familiarity with subcontractor coordination and oversight
- knowledge of residential building practices and basic building codes
- experience using construction or warranty management software and standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft applications)
- valid driver's license
